Admission for the 2019/2020 session is on right now. Degrees to be awarded are B.Sc, B.Eng, B.A and B.Ed

 
Troops of students make inquiries everyday on wanting to transfer from their current universities to a school in Cotonou, Benin Republic. Some students are currently in their schools and some have dropped out for a while.
Note that not all universities accept transfer students. Some universities don’t accept direct entry or transfer. All their students must begin from 100 level.
 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Here are the requirements for transfer
 
– O’level certificate or result (WAEC/ NECO)
 
– Transcripts
 
-Birth certificate
 
– 4 Passport photographs 
 
– Admission application fee (10,000 Naira)
 
 
With the above requirements, you will be able to transfer into some universities here
 
 

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN’T GET YOUR TRANSCRIPTS

 
Sometimes, students complain that they are unable to get their transcripts because their schools wouldn’t provide them with it. 
There is always a way out; if you can provide your admission letter, student ID Card and some other documents that show that you’re a bonafide student of the school,  this can be sorted out properly.

Transfers are accepted into 200,300,400 and 500 level for a good range of courses. 
 
 

HOW MUCH IS THE TUITION FEE?

 
The tuition fee for a transfer student ranges from 250,000 – 550,000 Naira per session, depending on the course, level and school.
 

HOW IS THE MODE OF PAYMENT?

 
The payment plan has been made flexible. 60 – 70℅ payment can be made as first payment, and the rest could be balanced up fully or in bits before the final exams. 
 

HOW ABOUT ACCOMMODATION

 
Accommodation and hostel facilities vary as well. The fee ranges from 100,000 Naira – 150,000 Naira per year/session. 
I know you might be asking – is it a private hostel? Well, the answer is – No, it is not. You will have 2-3 roommates. 
However, hostel accommodation is not compulsory and not all schools have a hostel for students. 
 
If you’re someone who loves your privacy and prefer staying alone, you are free to rent an apartment close to school.
A room self-contained should be fine for a student. What is meant by “self contained” is a well tiled apartment which comprises of a single room with a bathroom, toilet and a kitchen. The price is about 15,000 Naira per month.
