About Ifatoss University

I-FATOSS UNIVERSITY, also known as INSTITUT DES FORMATIONS AVANCEES, is a bilingual university that focuses on the philosophy of nation-building through a comprehensive understanding of higher education. It aims to make education come to life through its apprenticeship model approach and curriculum. The university is private and has been officially recognized since 2014 in the Republic of Benin, and was founded by Professor Geoffroy BOTOYIYE.

I-FATOSS University is known for its strong moral values and its goal to produce a new generation of leaders who will restore the dignity of the black race. It prioritizes innovative learning to develop well-rounded individuals. The university is composed of four colleges: The College of Business and Social Sciences, the College of Management Science, the College of Arts and Humanities, and the College of Science and Technology.

Since its inception, IFATOSS University has rapidly grown and is now considered to be one of the top 10 universities in the Republic of Benin. The university is also known as IFA-TOSSI in the French section of the Republic of Benin, which translates to Institute Formation Avancee Tossi, making it a fully accredited institution of higher learning in the Republic of Benin.

Vision Statement

Our goal is to establish an environment that promotes the acquisition of research-based knowledge that can be applied to the betterment of humanity. We strive to become the leading institution for the pursuit of excellence in knowledge, character, and service to humanity.

We have aspirations to become the first Pan-African University to operate in all nations across Africa, with a uniform standard that will attract global attention to the continent. Our vision is to offer a wide range of solutions that cater to the evolving needs of businesses and governments across different economic and political systems.

To realize this vision, we plan to:

• Create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students, faculty, and staff that empowers them to pursue their academic and professional interests.
• Foster a supportive community for a dynamic faculty committed to teaching, mentoring, research, and the creative and performing arts.

Mission

Our mission is to educate creative and independent thinkers who are capable of becoming responsible global citizens. We aim to provide an environment that fosters teaching, learning, research, and development where staff and students can interact and compete effectively with their peers from around the world.

Additionally, we are committed to ensuring that every child in Africa has access to the education and skills necessary to adapt to the changing needs of companies and governments and to excel in a fast-paced and ever-changing world.

To achieve this mission, the university plans to:

• Promote cultural understanding through language, culture, and art studies, as well as through opportunities to study the social, political, economic, and technological changes and to encourage the study, research, and service both on and off campus.
• Maintain a high level of excellence and standards in all programs to gain statewide, national, and international recognition.
• Advance new knowledge through a wide range of scholarly, research, and creative endeavors, which provide a foundation for addressing the immediate and long-term needs of society.
